Grow skills. Build confidence. Fly further.
As a BHPA Development School, Sky Summits offers trips for CP+ pilots who want to progress in a safe, structured environment. Based on the BHPA Pilot Development Structure (Foundation Tasks), these trips give you a clear pathway to develop your flying while enjoying consistent airtime at world-class overseas sites.
Our team of experienced BHPA-qualified instructors bring a wealth of coaching experience and a passion for helping pilots progress. They will help you tick off tasks, improve your technique and decision-making. Each day combines flying, coaching, and debriefs, so you gain both practical experience and the theory to back it up.
Unlike the UK, where the weather can be unpredictable and flying days are often lost, our trips take place in reliable overseas locations chosen for their consistency and training potential. This means more airtime, more task completions, and the chance to make rapid progress in a single week.

Piedechinche is a winter sun paradise to accelerate your learning when the UK skies are grounded. The valley offers gentle morning conditions for launches and early thermaling, followed by reliable midday climbs that are perfect for developing core XC skills. Smooth air, wide landing fields, and away from the crowded skies of Roldanillo, Piedechinche provides an ideal environment to focus on BHPA foundation tasks.
